Business Exercise
Today was a great day. The batch of 60 classmates was out of our college campus for entire day. We were working on our business exercise assignment & apart from being an enriching experience it was great fun. Taking lifts thrice & covering a distance of about 15-28 km..trying hard to reach at the pre decided place on time & get a job for 6hrs(without using any contacts) the plus earning a minimum of 150 bucks...ooh we really did a great job today
My first job was in First Flight Couriers Ltd. which was into both national & international courier delivery. It received Amity Excellence Award on
It was nice to work with local staff for 4hrs ,all were helping & explained me my work...we had our lunch together, yummy home made food. I made friends with a girl who helped me get my next job.
My second job for the day was with a paint & polish shop ,Standard Varnish House owned by Mr. Nizar Polishwala. They were into sale of all maintainence items viz. Paints, oils, araldite, phenyl, polish etc to hotels,restaurants,hospitals. They were also selling a self manufactured “Soft polish”. My work was to arrange all bills in order according to date & call the clients to ask whether they had any orders for us & were the payment checks ready. This 2 hr work earned me Rs 100 & a lot of information about pune.
